Better late than never...

So Moseley Arts Market was a great experience on Saturday. I met lots of other stallholders, got some good advice for Artsfest in September, got a better idea of what people like and dislike about my work, and sold a few pieces too! My Moseley Dovecote print was the most popular; not surprising seeing as it's a local piece. The InShadow images also seemed to be popular, and quite a few cards flew off the shelves.

The weather held up, with the morning starting off too hot, but by midday the sun had dropped and it was a pleasant temperature for standing around under a plastic sheet! People seemed in good spirits. After thoroughly enjoying the day, I have signed up for another stall on the 22nd August.

A few people took the information sheets on my Warley Woods prints. Incidentally, I have agreed to supply some of these to the Warley Woods Community Trust cafe in the woods in 2 weeks time. They are going to be displayed on the walls and for sale in the shop and by custom order. More details to follow on that soon.

Handmade Saturdays at the Custard Factory

last Saturday at the Cuatsrd Factory in Birmingham. It was a great day, and I got to meet some lovely crafters and it also resulted in my first sale on Etsy!



The Market is organised by COW (Creative Open Workshops) who run a range of creative workshops from their studio at the back of the pool in the Custard Factory, Digbeth. They will be running the market every Saturday in June and I will be there again this Saturday. For further details on the event see the COW blog:

Cards now for sale at Ikon shop, Birmingham!

I am honoured to now have some of my cards for sale at the Ikon Shop in Brindleyplace, Birmingham. Cards will be retailing at £2.00 each, and my notecards inspired by the tiles inside the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath will also be selling for £4.95.

So I've set up a shop on etsy.com. It's very new at the moment and I currently only have my posters displayed, but am planning on photographing my cards at the weekend and getting them up too. Then it'll be time to get marketing!

New A6 Greetings Card Designs
