My new illustration of Moseley Dovecote is now available to buy on Etsy.
I've priced it at $50, which is roughly £30. I can provide the print unframed if anyone would prefer. Please either email me direct or through etsy if you're interested.
Hi. My name's Rebecca Owen and I've been working as a graphic designer for nearly 10 years. My main inspiration is the built environment, especially that of Birmingham, where I've lived on and off for 8 years. I currently live in Bearwood in Sandwell and some of my designs are also taken from photographs taken in the area. I also love the work of 1950's - 1970's textile designers such as Lucienne Day, Barbara Brown and Celia Birtwell, illustrators such as Shigeo Fukuda and Tom Eckersley, and designers such as Otl Aicher, Wolfgang Weingart and Alan Fletcher.
I have a degree in Print Media, and a Graduate Certificate distinction in Design for Visual Communication, both from the University of the Arts, London.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the work on this blog, please do get in touch by email: beckyismyname@hotmail.co.uk
Alternatively, please feel free to leave me any feedback or sugestions.
